Founded by Ana Holschneider and artisan María del Socorro Gasca Chalqueño, this intricate handcrafted jewelry brand is inspired by the raw materials of nature. Ana and her team of talented artisans work from a small atelier in “El Hércules”, an old textile factory from 1846, in Queretaro. Their iconic material is Mexican cotton in its natural creamy color.
Caralarga uses natural fibers such as cotton, sisal and other weeds that have been rediscovered like Sanseviera or “mother in law’s tongue” from the Yucatán. The soul of the brand comes from the work of women artisans who transform these humble materials into breathtaking design pieces following a very simple and honest design. Caralarga strives to convey the values of handmade work and to highlight the natural beauty of each piece.
