Gallina Salsa Bowl
The adorable Gallina Salsa Bowl is handcrafted by a family-run workshop in the town of San Bartolo Coyotepec, in the Western Mexican state of Oaxaca.
The ebony hue of this piece is due to the properties of the clay found only in this region and the extensive traditional process the material undergoes through production.
The piece is completely free of lead and safe for use with food, though sharp knives may scratch the surface.
*All items sold by Vía Raíz are handmade. Therefore they may have small "imperfections" or slight variations of color and design between each product—we think that is part of the beauty of having something made with care by individual artisans.
