Ama Tus Raíces Hand-Printed Poster

30.00

"Ama Tus Raíces" translates to "Love Your Roots." A simple message with such a deep and heartwarming meaning. The design pays homage to the original decal that once was in the Vía Raíz brick-and-mortar shop. A daily reminder to be proud of where we come from.

Inspired by the delicate design of papel picado, these beautiful letterpress posters are available in 3 colors: Talavera Blue, Rosa Mexicano, and Warm Grey. We've collaborated with Daniela Del Mar, co-founder of Letra Chueca Press, to bring the design to life in letterpress form.

The poster is printed on Cannaletto Felt White 111#C, an elegantly textured cotton paper that adds to the gorgeous hand-made quality of the poster.

In honor of the message that this piece represents, Vía Raíz will donate $20 from each poster sale to Touching Land, a non-profit that uses hands-on experiential arts as a tool for community-building and immigrant empowerment. Touching Land offers Empowerment Workshops that educate and provide support to immigrants and vulnerable populations, as well as Building Bridges workshops that create cross-cultural connections within the community.
