Si'kuli Keychain

Si'kuli (God's Eye) is the most well-known and important religious symbol of the Wixárika culture (most popularly known as the Huichol). It is a symbol of power and serves to see and understand unknown things.

Based on this powerful and spiritual symbol, Mexican designer, Oriana Rodriquez, collaborated with Wixárika artisan, Kupaima Carrillo, to design a line of beautiful accessories.

The Si'kuli keychain is made using Czechoslovakian beads, a material used by the Wixárika community since the XIX century. Each color is specially chosen to create harmony and contrast, a characteristic found in the work of the Huichol community.

Therefore they may have small "imperfections" or slight variations of color and design between each product—we think that is part of the beauty of having something made with care by individual artisans. Our website photos are a close representation of this piece, but may not be identical to the one you receive.
